Amazing Fall on the Arnold Trail

This evening, I drove from Farmington to Coburn Gore, and it occurred to me that this landscape is the absolutely most beautiful, poignant and exhilarating spectacle I have ever seen. During my travels, I got to see wonderful faraway mountains, beaches, forests, canyons and plains, but never have I seen a landscape that overwhelms your senses in a way that New England forest does on a crisp clear fall day. I am very grateful to live in the midst of this beauty.
